I learned early on from my dear Mother that a beautiful, quality scarf had seemingly endless possibilities when it came to style! She always had a pretty little scarf with her. Everywhere! She had a habit of tying one onto her hat, her handbag, and even as a makeshift belt around her waist! Whether it was to hold her hair in place on a breezy day, cover her neck, or lay atop her shoulders when a chill set in. I was always mesmerized by the little details and beauty of her scarf collection. I would often use all the pretty patterned squares to fashion fancy linens, and later sarongs and togas for my dolls. To this day, I've never grown out of my love for beautiful, luxurious silk scarves!
